We are seeking a Staff Process Development Engineer with a strong background in advanced process (65/55nm and below) design rule analysis and validation; test chip design and layout; and device characterization.
The candidate must have the ability to interact with both wafer foundries and internal organizations (Design, CAD, PTE, and Quality) to establish technology requirements and specifications, develop customized test structures for device characterization to meet internal design requirements, resolve technical issues related to design rules, devices, Spice modeling, process variability, performance, reliability, and manufacturability. The candidate will also enable smooth new product introduction and volume ramp with high yield.
Minimum 7 years of experience in process integration or device engineering
In-depth knowledge of advanced (65/55nm and below) CMOS process development, device physics, and reliability
Understanding of key analog device metrics such as 1/f noise and device mismatch
Experience with semiconductor manufacturing issues, tradeoffs, and yield improvement activities
Prior experience managing or interacting with external foundries, and qualifying new technologies for production
Excellent communication skills
Strong data analysis ability
