DRC is seeking a senior level software developer with experience developing Web services using SOAP and REST architectures, including XML schema (XSD), WSDL and service discovery using UDDI. Overall responsibilities include:

Coding and implementation of various information technology solutions for the United States Intelligence Community.
Responsible for the integration of commercial and government technologies into viable and scalable solutions
Respond to user questions and comments via phone, email and bulletin boards.
Provide on-call support for operational systems.
Write documentation and support training to assist users and operators.
Support accreditation with respect to system documentation and testing.
Balance operational, policy and information assurance requirements into effective and logical solutions.
Evaluate new technologies and standards. Stay current with technology trends and brief ICES leadership on new technologies and approaches that could offer value to the Intelink environment. Design, plan, and conduct trials and pilots.
Participates as a design team member subject matter expert providing architectural oversight and leadership in planning and designing software system modeling, simulation and analysis for large, multiple product projects.
Performs and oversees highly complex testing and research of software systems that enhance performance; investigates and resolves matters of significance.
Designs highly complex software modules that work together to produce desired product. Ensures completed modules provide functionality described by application experts and meet performance guidelines.
Researches and reviews literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of highly complex projects. Identifies, recommends and pursues technology/practices to apply to solution.
Monitors and oversees the completion and implementation of technical products to ensure success and timeliness. Provides high-level analysis and design reviews to avoid duplication of efforts.
Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide the most complex required products or services. Conducts cost analyses to determine feasibility of various vendor products. Recommends vendor(s) and approach and presents to senior management/customer as appropriate.
Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
Provides highly complex technical consultation to other organizations; interacts with senior customer personnel and internal senior management.
Researches and understands the marketing requirements for a product including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues. Provides product expertise to the marketing process.
