Responsible for recruiting activities related to employment and recruiting programs. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Conducts interviews to recruit prospective employees and refers job applicants to specific job openings. Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral. Works with all levels of management to understand job and needs requirements. Surfaces candidates and develops networks to ensure a strong pipeline of qualified candidates using agencies, recruiting contractors, web based tools, and other resources. Prepares ratings on applicants, provides applicants with information on the company, checks references, arranges transportation of selected applicants, extends formal job offers, and works with management and HR to negotiate with candidates to successfully complete the hiring and on boarding process.
Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
