As a Staffing Programs Manager, you will contribute to Google's growth by creating a strategy to identify and build our candidate pipeline from untapped academic institutions globally. You will drive the strategy on the overall programs and outreach efforts working with Universities and students from schools we have not historically had a relationship with. You will create a strategy to identify opportunities to scale Googleâs reach to schools who are not familiar with our hiring opportunities. provide guidance, develop and execute various programs and events aimed at promoting the Google brand and developing a targeted candidate pipeline of new grads and interns. You'll be in constant contact with Google's internal departments to determine the most relevant outreach efforts based on the company's short term and long term hiring needs.
As a Staffing Programs manager, you will inspire your team and partners to think critically and innovatively, fostering new ideas and supporting the development of partnerships that will enable these new ideas to come to fruition. You will be prioritizing efforts and keeping a laser focus on short and long term priorities and the needs of our partners and clients.
Drive strategy and planning of university outreach and programs to build Googleâs short and long term candidate pipeline from the âlong tailâ schools where Google has not historically maintained relationships.
Take a data driven approach to develop comprehensive program strategies that build candidate pipelines from targeted talent pools. Define, measure and prove ROI to clients with unquestionable data. Innovate on our use of data, reporting and tools to inform strategies, outreach and improve our effectiveness.
Act as strategic partner with internal teams including Channels, Staffing, College Recruiting, University Programs, Student Engagement, Student Development.
Serve in the interest of the broader Staffing Programs team, partnering and collaborating with the leadership team. Participate in Staffing Programs annual budget and resource planning shoring up resources for existing programsâ growth and the addition of new programs.
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in sourcing or recruiting, outreach program development, HR, or consulting.
10 years experience with a proven track record developing new programs that appeal to users while meeting short and long term needs organizational needs, anticipating and responding to a fast moving competitive landscape.
Experience in sourcing or student recruiting, outreach program development or HR preferred.
People management, proven track record of mentoring and coaching team members preferred but not required.
High level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, excellent problem-solving capabilities and superior analytical skills.
Ability to work with multiple groups, including remote teams, and build strong personal networks across a complex, fast-moving organization.
Proven track record of proactive, strategic vision taken to from concept to execution and measurement, as well as demonstrated accountability for achieving individual and shared goals.
