Responsible for the daily operations of the Nursing Administration Staffing Office and supervision of the Staffing Specialists. Oversight of schedules, benefits requests and daily staffing. Responsible for quality assurance in nursing department payroll. Administrative payroll functions to assist the Patient Care Directors in meeting the payroll needs of the Nursing Departments in accordance with current payroll applications. Generate any needed ongoing reports to aid PCDs with variance reports. Assure that proper administrative procedures are maintained at all times. Coordinate in the implementation of any new scheduling software including, but not limited to: in-servicing of staff developing of reports, etc.
A minimum of High School diploma, Bachelors degree preferred, two years of nursing staffing/payroll experience in an acute-care/hospital setting. Excellent typing, communication and customer service skills are essential.
