The Staffing Specialist actively recruits for all exempt and non-exempt positions for all divisions of Shamrock Foods Company. Develops all recruiting processes, procedures, plans, strategies and activities while ensuring compliance with all government regulations and company policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
? Recruits, conducts screening interviews, administers tests, checks references, and evaluates potential qualified applicants. Measured by amount of qualified applicants.
? Evaluates temporary agencies based on company needs and objectives. Measured by mark up rates negotiated by the HR team.
? Obtains complete and accurate information from department hiring managers on job descriptions and minimum qualifications of open positions. Measured by number of open positions.
? Develop recruiting strategies and perform ongoing recruiting efforts for multiple positions. Measured by the time required to fill open positions
? Oversee applicant tracking system data integrity. Measured by monthly, quarterly, and annual staffing reports.
? Maintain records and files for legal compliance measured by yearly EEO/AA audits.
? Develop and place recruiting ads measured by the number of qualified applicants for each open position.
? Work with the Staffing Manager to create recruiting budget measured by expenses at or below budget amount.
? Coordinate internal job posting program measured by number of qualified internal candidates applying for open positions and number of internal candidate hired into open positions.
? Administer candidate referral program measured by number of external applicants referred by current Shamrock associates.
? Establish and maintain successful relationships with community leaders, schools, organizations, agencies, and employment services measured by attendance to community/agency meetings.
? Represent SFC at local job fairs, career events, school, and agency speaking engagements measured by attendance to these events.
? Retrieve candidate background, drug screening, and other selection tests results measured by timeline of notification to potential candidates and hiring managers.
? Other duties within the Human Resources arena may be assigned. Measured by completion of various special projects.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
? 3-5 years of recruiting/staffing experience in a high volume-environment required. This is measured by years of service, numbers of positions held and advancement.
? Bachelor’s degree preferred.
? Ability to identify the customer, their requirements, and respond to their needs.
? Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
? Ability to meet deadlines and maintain a professional demeanor.
? Ability to effectively transmit content and enthusiasm, negotiate and persuade.
? Must thrive in a teamwork environment.
? Bilingual in Spanish preferred
? Lotus Notes and Ceridian experience preferred .
? Must have excellent computer skills and proficiency in all MS Office programs including: MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Excel (charts and graphs), Reports (generation and creation)
