Works closely with Department of Standards and Survey Methods (DSSM) staff and other Joint Commission constituents to understand and fulfill Joint Commission standards data analysis and reporting needs. Helps to ensure the accuracy and consistency of standards information according to current style guide. Analyzes the need for new data elements to be incorporated in the standards database for data dissemination, reporting and prepublication purposes. Assists in preparing technical documentation of manual and automated processes and in educating staff on database procedures. Participates as a member of internal workgroups and provides support to division staff on technical and database issues.

Bachelor's degree in Business or other related field OR equivalent work experience. Master’s Degree (MIS or MBA) preferred. Three to five years of work experience. This experience should include, but need not be limited to: Design, query, and reporting experience with relational databases (Access, SQL), project management, writing skills. Demonstrate the ability to synthesize complex projects/data involving a wide range of individuals, groups, and/or committees. Strong analytic abilities. Experience designing data collection and reporting systems and in interpreting and communicating results. Demonstrated ability to problem solve and juggle multiple priorities. Effective interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at various levels both inside and outside of the organization, often in sensitive situations requiring political awareness. Displays a strong commitment to superior quality. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Displays a willingness to work a flexible schedule based on workload and deliverable dates. Experience in the following areas is desirable: SharePoint and technical writing.
