Primary Responsibilities:
•Preparation, submission, tracking, and documentation of all rate, rule and form filings for all lines of business in all states in which we operate and ensuring that they are in compliance with Company policies and applicable laws and regulations
•Ensuring that the rules documents for all lines of business in all states remain up to date and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
•Testing and documentation of new and/or updated policy forms and endorsements
•Updating department maintenance tables as needed to facilitate changes to forms, rates, or other maintenance table driven processes
•Reviewing and analyzing various industry circulars and bulletins and summarizing for management

Essential Functions

•Preparing responses to objections/inquiries from state insurance departments regarding our filings
•Subscribe to and review circulars, bulletins and other industry publications to help ensure compliance with statutory regulations and summarizing the content for management
•Updating department maintenance tables as needed to facilitate changes to forms, rates, or other maintenance table driven processes Minimum Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job the associate is regularly required to sit, talk, and/or hear. Maintains a sitting position for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. Desired Education: • High school education or equivalent required; associates degree and a minimum two years related experience preferred Desired Degree:

Other Qualifications:
•Previous state filing experience a plus •Intermediate to high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
•Ability to quickly learn new programs and processes
•Ability to read, analyze and interpret information
•Above average writing skills – knowledge of proper grammar, punctuation and structure – ability to summarize written materials with clarity
•Must be highly analytical and inquisitive; willing to dig deep to obtain a solid understanding of business products and processes
•Ability to multi-task
•Ability to work independently and as a member of a team •Flexible and responsive to change
•Good organizational and time management skills
