Position Summary : This position will support the State Marketing Director and Marketing Manager by implementing all the approved pricing scenarios and new item set ups. All communication of approved pricing is to be sent to designated personnel on a timely manner.

Sales & Marketing:
Set up all new items for a group of suppliers assigned to the State Pricing Manager / Director.

Includes linking from Corporate or notifying Corporate to set up.

Track new item arrivals and notify all Divisions. Recap and top line brand performance from launch to: 30, 60, 90 days by channel and division and make recommendations to the Marketing Manager / Directors.

Assist Marketing Manager and Director in the creation of Marketing plan.

Identify brand opportunities and help compile a plan of action to maximize the brand performance

Identify brand risk and help create a mitigation plan to minimize risk

Assist in the successful deployment of programs (Inventory management, identify opportunities, facilitate necessary tools to the sales divisions.).

Manage the VAP, Co Pack and PAD process.

Manage channel and size mix.

Creation and management of chain program calendars and overlays ( scans, MIR, POS, programs).

Category Management:
Work with syndicated data i.e.: Nielsen.

Ability to survey and identify opportunities within sales channels across the state.

Highlight changes for the Marketing Director / Manager in the competitive set and make recommendations to react accordingly.

Pricing & Finance:
Enter state wide pricing.

Front lines, discounts, DA, DP, No charge goods, and NDA’s.

Create and Maintain Statewide Combo deals if requested.

Enter all Statewide programs and notify all Divisions of there availability.

Create and maintain wine by-the-glass deals.

Update pricing, prepare new pricing scenarios and summarize financial implications.

Accounts Receivables

Administer and resolve all A/R maneuvers.

This involves supplier and account A/R.

Assist in the management of all supplier banks.

Identify SWS price / margin increasing opportunities.

Operations & General Administrative:
Run reports for Managers and Suppliers as requested.

Summation and communication of all statewide programs and incentives.

Manage and achieve resolution to all costing variances.

Required Skills

Requirements:
Some College (min) / College degree is preferred.

Excellent Excel skills along with Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, etc...) are a must.

Must have an accounting / financial background and/or proficient in working with numbers, chargeback’s and general accounting.

Must be detail oriented.

Good communication skills mandatory, both written and verbal.

This is a support position for the State Marketing Director.

Minimum 1 year working in the wine & spirits’ industry with a background in sales or pricing.
