Ensure the proper maintenance of the computerized and printed scheduling book.
Responsible for training all new sales and marketing personnel in the procedures of event booking and other related Ungerbok procedures.
Responsible for entering space and maintaining all internal events. Continually maintain other functions related to scheduling as assigned.
Perform other duties, functions, special projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Sales and Marketing.
Performs complex statistical analysis on data in support of the Georgia World Congress Center Authority.
Applies appropriate data collection methodologies and analytical tools in the data collection process.
Determines best practices for data collection along with development of written documentation
Conduct research on potential primary and secondary markets such as associations, conventions and trade shows based on sales data needs; research and qualify potential leads.
Work in close liaison with the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau on the convention and meeting industry in order to analyze trends, best practices and operations that would benefit the Congress Center Authority
Partner with various associations (ACVB, other State and local Visitor Bureaus) to further opportunities to share data and information in the pursuit of creating standardized models for the meeting and convention industry.
Work closely with the Computer Operations division to set up and maintain statistical information on actual tradeshow, convention, public show and secondary markets for GWCC/Georgia Dome/COP occupancy, show pattern, square footage, attendance, rotational pattern, future tentative and confirmed dates to be used for industry trend surveys and economic impact studies.
Continuously researches departments, programs, literature and other various sources in order to provide successful, innovative solutions and alternatives to the Congress Center Authority’s needs. Prepare and present reports of findings resulting from research.
Provide key personnel with concise information concerning the state and performance of the Authority system on short or little notice, and provide precise key driver information to assist in tactical as well as strategic planning.
Such other duties, functions, special projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
Minimum Training & Experience: Completion of a bachelorÂs degree from an accredited college or university OR One year of experience at the lower level or position equivalent (GSP010) OR Four years of related experience
Agency Specific Qualifications and/or Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Marketing or closely related field. Minimum of four (4) years related experience. Minimum of one (1) year using Crystal reports. Strong background using Microsoft Office, with heavy use of Excel and Power Point. Education may serve as a substitute for experience on the basis of one (1) year education for two (2) years of experience
