The Step 3 Technical Review Lead (TR Lead) will play a critical role in ensuring we successfully install the products we sell to our customers. The TR Lead will be responsible for reviewing installation work scopes and related paperwork provided by our outside sales advisors for our ductless mini-splits and windows products (along with more products and services coming soon). The TR Lead will review the documents for completeness, accuracy and adherence to building code and installation standards. Other core responsibilities include working with the Senior Technical Review Lead and our Training department to identify improvement opportunities in scoping work and working with our Senior TR Lead, field installation managers, sales managers, and others to continually update and improve our installation standards

Responsibilities:
Conduct technical review on a daily basis of a steady volume of time-critical paperwork related to Step 3 products (currently ductless mini-splits and windows, but soon to include other products/services)
• Review pictures and diagrams of work scope for mathematical accuracy
• Review work scopes for installation standards and sound building science principles
• Review paperwork for completeness
• Identify and correct errors as needed
• With direction from Senior Technical Review Lead, work with sales manager and sales advisors to collect documents in a timely manner.
• Update Customer Relations Management software Salesforce.com on a regular basis with relevant information on work scope and customer
• Work to solve interdepartmental customer services concerns related to technical review of Step 3 products and services
• Other duties to be assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, in technical field or building science preferred
• Solid understanding of building science concepts
• Building Performance Institute Building Analyst or Envelope Professional Certification preferred
• Experience with the Mass Save Home Energy Services Program also preferred
• HVAC experience preferred
• Mastery of basic geometry and arithmetic skills
• Strong logic skills - able to analyze a complicated scope for best options
• High attention to detail
• Systematic thought process
• Able to perform similar tasks day in and day out
• Strong computer literacy – must be able to learn new software quickly and review documents online
• Microsoft office skills required
• Salesforce.com experience preferred
• Ability to learn complex processes quickly and work within them effectively
• Ability to self-manage daily tasks
• Goal-driven and desire to succeed in a metric-driven environment.
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts across departments
