to work closely with our sales team to help design, properly position and present Corus360 Storage solutions to clients. The SE will primarily be responsible for supporting sales but will augment the capabilities of the implementation team on an as-needed basis. Candidate must be able to see projects through all stages including defining requirements, drafting and presenting technical proposals, and deploying and maintaining the best solutions. A strong commitment to technical excellence and teamwork will be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

This will be a pre-sales position, with minimal post-sales responsibility other than solution support

Responsible for assisting Business Development Managers, Sales Managers and Account Executives in defining, positioning, architecting, designing and presenting a range of storage solutions around NetApp, EMC, Dell, HP, IBM and Hitachi Core Storage (VNX, VNXe, VMax, Centerra) and BRS (Data Domain) Solutions

Participate in Client Facing Meetings to determine business and technical requirements that will be used in developing storage solutions or solution alternatives that fit within Corus360 capabilities

Developing and maintaining the NetApp, EMC, Dell, HP, IBM and Hitachi and VCE Inc. relationships for North America and regularly engaging the local teams for assistance, support and opportunity mapping as necessary

Obtaining sales and technical certifications around various storage solutions as required

Leading client technical sessions, both white board and power point, around potential and proposed storage solutions

Organizing and leading sales training sessions around various storage technologies as appropriate

Elevating the level of knowledge within the sales team around storage technologies, sales techniques and win strategies for the assigned sales territory

Growing and achieving of the NetApp, EMC, Dell, HP, IBM and Hitachi storage number throughout company

Designing and delivering technical design solutions, along with the services proposal content and pricing for client projects in a timely manner

Use CRM application to track and manage the sales process

Be highly available and responsive to the assigned regional sales teams

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong Pre-Sales background

Experience with EMC, NetApp, Hitachi, 3Par, HP, IBM, Cisco or other industry solutions a plus

Ability to work as a solid member and leader

Self-starter, able to manage expectations with a sales team and with clients

Strong leadership and communication skills

A positive attitude and desire to build a business within a business

Ability to travel

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

College diploma or equivalent experience in the field of business administration, computer science or management information systems

3-5 years of experience in selling, architecting or implementing Storage Solutions around NetApp, EMC, Dell, HP, IBM and Hitachi
