Job Title: Store Manager
Department: Blowing Rock, NC
Report to: Director of Stores
Responsible for the day to day operations of Tervis store.
Responsible for achieving performance objectives set out by management.
Help develop new business opportunities to increase brand awareness and sales.
Knowledge of Tervis History, Product Mix, Custom Orders Requirement
Knowledge of Tervis Policy & Procedures
Maintain records of sales data and bank deposits
Manage store budget
Promote corporate sales/ track all employee incentive sales
Monitor daily/weekly/monthly. Meet with Regional Manager to adjust as needed.
Manage and motivate sales team to increase sales
Respond to customer complaints and comments ASAP
Review daily closing reports , compare to accounting to insure accuracy
Interviewing potential staff, hiring and training
Provide and organize training and development
Ensure quality standards , customer service, health, safety, legal and security are met
Coach & council staff performance, document outcome and consequences
Conduct appraisals and performance reviews ( 90 day, yearly, pay requirements)
Manage payroll budget
Schedule staff to achieve optimum coverage: weekly - vacation schedules
Time cards properly filled out, approved and faxed to corporate
Monitor daily inventory replenishment needs
Plan seasonal inventory needs
Manage inventory, track inventory turns by item to control stock levels
Monitor annual inventory (Quarterly)
Track returns by month
Follow up on all accounting issues.
Monitor all local Ads - give feedback to Marketing
Track Coupon - give feedback to Marketing
Maintain store premises and grounds in compliance with safety and housekeeping practices
Knowledgeable in Cash Register-POS Systems/Ticketing Procedures/ Training
Other Responsibilities and Duties:
Performs other work-related duties as assigned
Goal orientated, strong attention to detail, must enjoy multi tasking, good at developing people.
Able to work with all department ( human resources, finance, marketing, logistics, information technology, and management) to drive the business.
Full time position may exceed 40 hours per week, available to work weekends and holidays
Partner with Director of Stores on all aspect of the business
