Our Sales Managers must have the ability to meet goals, work in a fast paced environment and promote and energize the Customer’s Home experience and direct activities related to sales and support functions. The sales manager's purpose is to assist in achieving store sales goals. In a fast paced retail environment.
Assist in opening and closing the store
Encourage and develop sales associates to achieve their goals along with goals of the showroom
Partner with the General Manager in order to execute and achieve store goals and associate goals
Deliver top-notch customer service to every customer and build customer loyalty
Maintains store staff by coaching, counseling, disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, appraising job results and initiating corrective actions.
Developing and executing prospecting initiatives to increase sales associate and store revenue
Follows, supports, models and enforces company policies and procedures
Models a professional sales presence
Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting and training employees
Assists sales associates in the selling process and closing sales whenever needed
Maximizes merchandising efforts by controlling signage and floor display to ensure that they are attractive and welcoming
Assist in managing and communicating key management reports
Performs additional functions that may be assigned at the discretions of the management
Passion for retail
2 + years experience in retail management
Previous sales experience
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Must have strong analytical skills coupled with a strong attention to detail
Outgoing, enthusiastic personality
Must have professional appearance
Comfortable working with computers to perform reports, analysis work using company systems
High energy with a sense of urgency
Ability to improve store performance and meet the company’s growth needs
Ability to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, weekend, holidays and special sales events
Standing/walking 75% of time in a showroom averaging 35,000 sq ft
Furniture experience is a plus
