DESCRIPTION

To manage all phases of the assigned store

DUTIES

  • Achieves or exceeds store goals
  • Sets prices competively for store market area
  • Provides feedback to supervisors regarding merchandise needs and customer comments
  • Achieves store operations and cost containment objectives
  • Completes store reports according to procedures established by central operating departments
  • Provides feedback to supervisors regarding status of physical plant and equipment
  • Seeks out customer contact for useful information about service levels, merchandise selection
  • Solves customer problems in a timely manner
  • Promotes "Customer is King" attitude in store staff
  • Supervises/trains personnel in processing and sales according to established procedures and policies
  • Plans and prepares working schedules for all staff for adequate, secure coverage and within budget
  • Follow all policies and procedures to protect the store's assets
QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivilent; prefer some college level course in business or marketing
  • Ability to commumicate effecftively in English both verbally and in writing
  • Three or more years in sales or public contact experience
  • One year or more in a supervisory capacity
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a variety of people
  • Demonstrated ability to meet schedules; complete work assignments successfully
  • Must be flexible - able and willing to react to short notice relocation to any store within 20 miles of normal work assignment -Achieves or exceeds store goals
