Atkins seeks Project Manager with a strong background in stormwater management to support planning, design, and construction management activities for a variety of water resources projects. In this role you will be responsible for project management, client interaction, and oversight of the work of staff and sub-consultants. The successful candidate will provide leadership, direction, and guidance to ensure that quality management and technical services are provided to clients and that performance targets are met. You will also be responsible for planning, designing, and managing construction of projects such as retrofits of existing stormwater management facilities, green infrastructure, stream restoration, and regenerative stormwater conveyance.

Requirements:

The appropriately qualified candidate will have the following core competencies and required experience:
• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field of practice is required. Master’s degree a plus.
• Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 – 10 years of experience, with direct involvement in stormwater management design and construction management.
• Professional Engineer registration is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills; good public speaking ability; strong project financial management skills; knowledge of production support systems and personal computer proficiency are all required competencies.
• Experience with field inspections and interaction with construction crews is required.
