We are seeking a Strategic Sales Professional to join the Imation Mobile Security (IMS) team who will be responsible for selling the Ironkey by Imation product portfolio. This position will sell into accounts throughout the east coast, so they should be located in the Atlanta or New York area.

  • Develop for new business opportunities via the sales cycle – prospecting, qualification, recommendation/objections, and closing the sale
  • Conduct formal and informal presentations and demonstrations to both end user prospects and channel partners
  • Serve as a key evangelist for IMS’s newest offerings, such as Windows To Go with responsibility for educating customers and partners on the business and technical value that our solutions provide
  • Work effectively with key channel partners throughout the geography as well as internally with the Ironkey Channel Account Managers
  • Lead account coordination strategies and tactics (inside sales, system engineering and sales management)
  • Manage accurate sales forecasting from initial contact through the procurement process, ensuring CRM tool is utilized effectively and maintained on a regular basis
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas and revenue goals
  • Travel Expectations: up to 50% domestic travel

  • 8+ years’ experience in a technical sales role
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent
  • IT security solutions experience along with proven success in selling secure storage and/or secure workspace solutions
  • Enterprise sales experience along with solution selling background
  • Broad understanding of Microsoft solutions to include Windows administration and management, Active Directory, and Configuration Manager
  • Technical knowledge of key technologies to include storage, encryption, disaster recovery, data security, virtualization and systems management
  • Plan and strategize end user marketing activities with our marketing and channel teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving and time management skills
  • Thorough knowledge of and a continued desire to stay current with market and industry trends, competitors and leading customer strategies
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota
