This role will be responsible for managing 10-20 strategic account relationships with universities using Rafter’s in-store rental program and cloud store program. In collaboration with their sales counterpart, the Account Manager will work to maintain and grow the depth of Rafter’s relationship with active customers.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Facilitate transition of customers from sales cycle to post-sales support and software activation including kick-off meetings, training, and set-up.
Manage cyclical “peak” preparation activities with accounts to ensure optimal performance and engagement with the Rafter platform. Provide reminders around key activities and encourage adoption of best practices.
Identify opportunities to provide additional products and services to existing customers (in partnership with sales)
Act as primary point of contact for store/school managers regarding operational issues leveraging other internal departments to work through solutions on behalf of customers.
Provide ongoing communication and training support to stores on Rafter products and services.
Meet and exceed business targets for customer retention and customer revenue
Skills & Experience:
Willingness to embrace start-up culture of flexing and changing at a rapid pace
5+ years experience managing accounts in the enterprise software industry
Demonstrated ability to quickly and effectively establish deep and long-term customer relationships.
Demonstrated track record of account retention and account growth
Aptitude for learning new software quickly as well as aptitude for training others on software and driving successful adoption
Travel 15% nationwide
