We are seeking a Strategic Accounts RFP Pricing Specialist at our corporate headquarters in Midtown Cleveland, OH.
In this role, you will manage incoming Strategic Account RFPs and prepare/ maintain the RFP file during the parts matching process. You will play a key role in providing analytical support to the Strategic Account management team.
Analyze, and interpret data as well as prepare/ format reports as required based on application or customer specifications.
Manage incoming Strategic Account RFPs or Customer Part Identification requirements.
Assist Strategic Account Managers with producing a high quality response to Customer RFPs as it pertains to the RFP Market Basket.
Partner with Product Managers and Suppliers to ensure best pricing is received for opportunity based on industry and volume.
Analyze data and make recommendations to the Strategic Account Manager to develop price strategy for the RFP.
Maintain and analyze RFP Bid match rates and bid wins and losses.
Research and implement automation tools for a higher quality match rate and to improve the customer parts match process.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
2+ years’ work experience in an industrial or business environment
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while achieving deadlines and quality results
Strategic thinker with strong communication and analytical skills
Strong computer skills including expertise in Excel and Access
Industrial distribution experience
