The Regional Finance North and South Americas (NSA) department within Heineken Global Control & Accounting (GC&A) focuses on driving superior and sustainable financial returns and delivering excellent business intelligence and financial services. The department acts as a proactive Business Partner for the Regional Management Team and Operating Companies to deliver Financial Excellence.

The Regional Finance NSA department is looking for a Strategic Business Control Manager to support the ambitions of the team. You will report to the regional CFO Americas.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
o Drive and embed cost management program for Americas region. Includes tracking and reporting production and logistic efficiencies, purchasing optimization, and fixed cost reductions.
o Act as financial business partner for Consumer Value Engineering project with Supply Chain and Marketing teams.
o Build models to monitor ROI performance of major acquisitions in the region.
o Review and approve all capital expenditures or long term contracts (Funds Applications) exceeding a specified threshold, analyze business case and alternatives.
o Manage competitor analysis by monitoring earnings releases and market updates, summarize and share findings with management on a monthly basis.
o Act as controller for New York office by planning, budgeting, and monitoring actual expense results for over 75 people across 15 cost centers with total costs amounting to over $50 million. Implement process improvements for personnel expense calculations, travel expenditure trackers, and budget vs actual analysis.
o Implement Finance Competencies for local Finance team to help develop people capabilities.

Profile:
For this role, we are looking for a candidate with:
  • University / Masters degree in a Finance and Accounting
  • Proven Project (management) experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the area of financial control and business analyses; 10+ years of experience preferred
  • IFRS knowledge
  • Excellent English speaking and writing skills, Spanish a plus
