Coordinate development of strategic programs. Identify and obtain grants and other funding for the organization’s strategic programs. Assemble teams for strategic program development, funding, and accomplishment. Guide teams in strategic functions. Establishes the direction for the various groups under his or her control, aligns department and group activities with the BBAHC strategic plan, integrates department and group activities with other areas and activities, and plans for growth and development of the departments and areas.
Bachelor’s Degree in health planning, business, public or health administration, journalism, or clinical science preferred.
A knowledge of and experience in strategic planning and programs required.
Excellent oral, written, and office software (word processing and spreadsheets) skills are required.
Experience in leading/facilitating team functions and processes required.
Coordinates developing strategic initiatives, projects, programs and funding to meet strategy map perspective goals and BBAHC Business Plan. Invests in out-of-the-box strategic thinking. Delegates projects to appropriate groups or teams.
Tracks strategic initiatives, development stages, and achievements and communicates to all staff.
Develops divisional budget submissions to align with the BBAHC strategy map.
Oversees grant management to ensure department managers meet grant requirements, appropriately expend grant funds, and timely submit interim and final grant reports.
Mentors, coaches, and counsels staff to develop excellent contribution to the BBAHC mission and assist in understanding the individual’s role in the strategic plan. Fully documents staff issues. Resolves staff issues at the lowest level possible. Keeps supervisor aware of staff issues. Develops and timely submits annual staff performance evaluations aligned with the BBAHC strategy map.
Maintains full compliance with the laws, regulations, grant terms, and BBAHC policies pertinent to the division. Ensures division activities meet all applicable accrediting body standards and CMS Conditions of Participation. Actively avoids fraud, waste, and abuse. Seeks methods and activities to enhance BBAHC revenues.
Directs divisional Performance Improvement initiatives. Tracks and reports accomplishments. Develops and oversees Quality Calendar activities.
Responds to all Customer Comments and/or RMEs presented in a complete and timely manner.
Ensures department procedures align with and support organizational policies.
Other duties as assigned.
