Sterling Payment Technologies provides point of sales payment technology and electronic transaction processing services to merchants nationwide. Sales are made through our network of ISOs, community banks or associations. The Strategic Programs and Research Representative's role is to assist with the financial, commission and analytical payments aspect of the ISC/Agent relationship.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats with individuals and groups
Ability to handle and complete multiple projects, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
Ability to utilize personal computer, telephone, facsimile, copier, calculator, and other general office equipment
Ability to perform financial program queries and research
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in making decisions
Ability to interact effectively and positively with all levels of personnel, partners, and vendors
Ability to handle confidential material appropriately

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answer calls and email inquiries in a timely manner as presented by ISC/Agents and/or internal Sterling departments
Be available based on the business hours of the ISO's supported
Research sales office payment and commission issues as directed by the Strategic Programs and Research manager
Research and prepare analytical pricing service to ISC/Agent which would allow them to quote competitive pricing to their potential merchants
Work with sales offices to validate pricing options for new merchant accounts
Research and resolve issues as assigned by Strategic Programs and Research manager concerning but not limited to: residuals, commissions, lease pricing, bonuses, missing equipment, and returned equipment deducted from residuals and other adhoc items required
Take ownership of calls/e-mails presented and provide optimal results for each sales office
Work with Relationship Manger assigned to ISC/Agent for escalated items
Escalate unresolved ISC/Agent issues to management in a timely and efficient manner
Refer product development ideas, offer feedback and suggestions to management
Complete miscellaneous job duties as assigned

All applicants must pass a drug test, background check, and credit evaluation
High School diploma required
Associates' degree from an accredited college or university or at least 2 years card acquiring industry experience in sales commissions and residuals required
Minimum 2 years experience in an ACD call center environment or related experience in the sales, customer service or technical support fields preferred
Minimum 2 years Sales Support/Relationship Management experience in the card acquiring industry preferred
Proficient verbal and written communication skills required
Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, Access, and Windows based programs including e-mail required
