Walter P Moore, a premier consulting engineering firm, provides a broad range of engineering and consulting services to public and private sector clients from a network of thirteen U.S. offices.

We are currently looking for the right individual to join our Orlando office, in the role of Structural Drafter. Our new Drafter will become an integral part of the Structural Engineering team in the Orlando office and will have the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting projects being designed today.

This Drafter will be responsible for preparation of construction documents for structural drawings and details on a variety of projects, working closely with a team of Structural Engineers and other Drafters. In addition, you will be challenged with the opportunity to develop and program design and drafting tools within Revit Structure that will have a significant impact on the company-wide Structural Design team.

If you would enjoy working with top structural engineers in the design of commercial and institutional buildings, this position may be made for you. Good verbal and written communication, a “can-do” customer-service attitude and collaborative behavior is essential.

Walter P Moore is committed to and utilizes Revit Structure and other BIM technology (including Tekla and Sketchup) in all of our projects. Candidates for this position must have experience in Revit Structure. For the right individual, we will accept entry-level candidates, but experienced drafters with 3-5 years' experience in structural drafting and use of Revit Structure would be a plus.

Walter P Moore is an equal opportunity employer and provides all of its employees with a competitive compensation and benefits package.
