Job Summary
Opportunities exist for suitable candidates to join our offshore Oil and Gas team based in Houston.

Suitable candidates will execute and support delivery of consultancy assignments in the area of structural engineering and integrity management for the offshore oil & gas industry.

Job Requirements

Suitable candidates will possess the following qualifications and experience:
An engineering degree (honors or equivalent) in civil, mechanical, structural, naval architecture or similar
Pursuing qualification (PE or CEng) by a recognized engineering institution
Offshore/marine integrity management, assessment and analysis experience (3+ years)
In addition, it would be desirable to have:
Offshore/marine integrity management, assessment and analysis experience (5+ years)
Understanding of wave loading and vessel motions
Experience in the assessment and analysis of fixed platforms and/or floating systems
Experience in hydrodynamic software packages (ideally Sesam HydroD, AQWA, Flexcom) would be beneficial
Experience in FEA packages (ideally SACS or Sesam) would be beneficial
Project control and management experience
Interest in staff development issues and line management
Preparing and estimating successful responses to bids across a range of expertise
Experience overseeing the inspections offshore for diver and ROV inspections
CSWIP 3.4U Underwater Inspection Controllers or equivalent qualification
Working knowledge of national and international standards, codes and regulations applicable to offshore structures
Basic NDT qualifications i.e. MPI, DP, UT
Providing management level supervision of inspection delivery teams

Job Details
You will be responsible for the following:
Checking and reviewing technical deliverables including reports, technical notes, drawings and engineering calculations
Executing integrity management and engineering consultancy work for all types of offshore structures including fixed, floating and subsea on time, to budget and of high quality. This would include:
o Developing SIM and maintenance processes
o Developing inspection work scopes
o Anomaly management
o RBI planning Inspection planning and review
o Reporting fabric maintenance support
o Platform visits
o Carrying out the underwater inspections and planned follow on activities in accordance with Inspection Specifications
o Inspection reports
Managing your own and others cost and time targets to deliver high quality integrity management services to oil and gas industry clients
Additional information

Offshore survey visits would be required

Travel to other company/client sites may be necessary
