The University is accepting applications for Student Fitness Office Worker on a regular basis. When a position comes available, your application will be considered in the applicant pool. The Fitness Office Worker will assist the Assistant Director-Fitness with the administration and coordination of a comprehensive fitness program. Responsibilities may include: developing fitness prescriptions to promote positive behavior change; perform health and fitness assessments; assist in the marketing and promotion of a variety of Fitness programs and services; evaluation of the Fitness program and related components; develop and implement health and wellness programs and materials for the campus community; assist in teaching group fitness classes; assist in the marketing and promotion of group fitness classes. Assist in the completion of daily administrative tasks. Other duties as assigned. Programs and ideas must conform to the accepted best practices as outlined by the AFAA and other professional standards. The Office Worker will have direct contact with students & faculty/staff members of the Fitness & Wellness Center, including other instructors & all Campus Recreation Professional & student staff. Occasional contact outside of the Recreation facility while serving as presenter or host for events or programs for other University departments.

Current CPR, AED and First Aid certification strongly preferred. Office Worker with group fitness and/or personal training experience and certification is preferred. Marketing experience.
