Under the direction of the Assistant Director for Student and Financial Aid Systems, serve as the Associate Lead Systems Analyst for Student Information Systems by analyzing issues and completing assigned tasks. In addition, provide analysis, design, implementation and maintenance of the SunGard Banner Student System, General Systems, Banner Self-Service products, Enrollment Management, DegreeWorks, Resource 25 and X25, fsaATLAS, SSD products, and the SCT Xtender suite of products. Develop specifications, and develop and maintain complex applications to meet the administrative needs of the University. Assist staff and customers to ensure proper project specification and program development. Use operational and functional knowledge of all aspects of the Banner system, including all external interactions and internal processes to provide support.
Extensive structured programming ability demonstrated by working ability to program complex applications in Java, C++, SQL, and PL/SQL. Demonstrated ability to maintain complex application programs. Knowledge of systems analysis and design techniques. Demonstrated ability to provide technical and project support other staff as required. Effective oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated programming experience developing and maintaining applications Oracle Developer/2000, Oracle Forms, MS Access, Crystal Reports, and SAS.
Experience in a college or University computer center.
Experience with SUN Solaris. Experience working with SunGard Banner products.
40 hour work week Monday-Friday; Some evenings and weekends; rotating on call
