The School of Nursing seeks a Student Services Coordinator whose duties will vary but includes support and independent duties to provide an efficient operation of the School of Nursing Academic Programs. The individual will function as a team member in conjunction with the faculty, staff and students at both the Boston Campus and Distance Sites. There is growth with the establishment of the Online Direct-Entry, RN- BSN , MS Administration/Leadership/Health Policy and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner programs and an increase in the overall student enrollment. This position serves as liaison with graduate and undergraduate specialty coordinators in review and acceptance of students in conjunction with the Distance Site Director. All graduate and undergraduate course schedules and course registration will be maintained by this individual. This involves multiple course sections with over two hundred students. This individual will also maintain a system of records required for accreditation.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1 – 2 years of administrative experience in the academic setting, or in lieu of the degree, five years of enrollment management/student services experience in higher ed. Strong interpersonal skills plus initiative is required. The individual will have to work independently, have strong computer skills, be able to handle multiple responsibilities and maintain confidential matters pertinent to the academic office. The person must be organized with attention to detail.
