Responsible for supporting the Student Services Department with all administrative functions assisting the team with show, retention, and completion efforts

Principle Accountabilities & Deliverables
  • Provides various administrative functions in the Student Services Department, such as, collating orientation packets, data entry of various forms i.e. FERPA forms, Title VI Compliance forms, Carpooling information, etc.
  • Assists the Records Coordinator with auditing all new student files to ensure appropriate and required documentation is received.
  • Assists with updating and maintaining student files in compliance with ACCSCT , State, and SOX Standards including scanning and linking as needed
  • Audits grades and attendance or helps support this function to ensure accurate reporting
  • Enters grades/attendance corrections and ensures the error log is updated accordingly or helps support this function.
  • Responds to student and parent requests for verification letters and transcripts and issues accordingly
  • Supports the different positions within Student Services i.e. assists with graduation tasks, housing calls, running reports, distributing attendance sheets, pulling students when needed, etc.
  • Provides Receptionist duties as needed (or full time) depending on the campus location
  • Administers entrance exam tests or home school tests to future students as needed.
  • Issues grade reports to students each course or helps with this function as needed.
  • Assists with various functions within Student Services i.e. student activities, drug testing program, campus notary duties, VA support, food pantry, orientation , registration, EA’s reprints, etc. (Functions vary by campus)
  • Other duties as necessary
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education / Experience
  • High school diploma or completion of GED required
Skills
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated, strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of basic computing and word processing applications. Intermediate speed in 10-key.
Abilities
  • Must be able stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5% or less of the workday
  • Must be able to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, and reason for most or all of the workday
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.
Work Environment
  • Work is performed indoors in a climate controlled environment.
  • Some travel may be required.
