Engineering-Liberal Arts and Sciences Online Learning (ELO) seeks applicants for the position of Student Services Specialist I as the primary contact to perform a wide range of student support services for faculty and students in ELO.
This position will advise students regarding online and distance education through ELO; coordinate adds, drops, and appeals for online students; assist with the enrollment of online courses ; and perform technical support duties for online courses. The position will coordinate online course offerings, review online listing course data for accuracy, and serve as a distance education/online learning liaison for the Colleges of Engineering & Liberal Arts and Sciences between departments, colleges, and the University.
The Student Services Specialist will provide customer service to a wide variety of internal and external contacts. This position will direct incoming inquiries to the appropriate contacts and resources; communicate with potential and current students regarding online courses and programs; coordinate mass e-mailings to students and instructors; and create and distribute promotional materials. In addition, this position will supervise a team of student employees, undergraduate and graduate students; and provide operations support backup for the maintenance of student registration data.
The successful candidate will possess excellent listening and communications skills and attention to detail.

Bachelor's degree and 1 year customer service experience.
Additional years of customer service experience
Experience working in a college/degree program environment
Experience working with online education
Minimum $30,622; commensurate with qualifications
