The internal stylist is responsible for upholding LOFT’s authority of being our client’s “Trusted Stylist” and for driving results thru bringing seasonal stories to life in brand appropriate looks to be used in a variety of channels. As a key liaison with the internal visuals department, and e-commerce team and field stores team an ideal candidate will have strong styling, visual merchandising, e-commerce and presentation skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Styling and alignment of all seasonal mannequin looks ensuring seasonal styling strategies & standards are implemented and maintained at all times
Utilize seasonal Style Book to understand stories by delivery and create a compelling store experience when creating visual moments on mannequins, bust forms and Henry hangers
Act as a key liaison with visual merchandising to ensure elevated execution of aligned looks during store set, investor and press previews, internal meetings, etc.
Educate new associates thru Style Workshops
Host LOFT events as LOFT Stylist and style real women in the field
Knowledge, skills & abilities:
Knowledge of current fashion trends
Ability to develop relationships and partner with cross-functional teams
Open to feedback and flexible to daily changes
Excellent written and verbal communication styles
Ability to present to a large group and articulate styling message
Ability to host events as LOFT Stylist and style real women
Ability to lead style workshops to educate new associates in the field
Highly productive in fast-paced environment
Senior level experience styling real women, e-commerce and mannequins
On-set shoot experience as lead stylist
Critical thinking skills that allow candidate to translate a concept into reality and develop story thru visual looks
High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Autonomous problem-solver with visual eye to create stories thru product
Qualifications
Minimum 8-10 years styling experience in fashion retail, editorial and/or personal styling
Open to travel for events and new store openings
