Job Overview J P Kenny is one of the world's largest and most innovative pipeline, subsea engineering and management contractors, with 30 years experience and approximately 1300 professional staff located in a global network of 10 offices on 4 continents. We wish to recruit a Subsea Designer, with 3D drafting experience.

Roles & Responsibilities The candidate will be working within an integrated team and will be supporting the structural design requirements for a range of Concept, FEED and Detailed Engineering projects. One of the prime requirements will be the preparation of 3D drawings from engineering sketches.

Experience Required The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience in preparing and checking design drawings in 2 & 3D for such items as subsea manifolds, guide bases, in-line pipeline structures, ROV interface details and valve structures.

Specific experience will be needed in the following:
  • Modeling of 3D piping, steelwork and equipment using AutoCAD 3D solid modeling and or Inventor
  • Production of General Arrangements, Framing plans, detail drawings and isometrics using AutoCAD.
  • Useful additional experience would include:

  • Detail design experience & knowledge of relevant standards.
  • Experience in producing pipeline drawings and alignment sheets.
