Job Overview Due to continued success, J P Kenny is looking for a dynamic and results oriented Subsea Systems Engineer.
The major objective for this position is to interpret field layout information into viable subsea systems architecture solutions from geographical, drill center, well and potential host information received from the client. The initial deliverable is the generation of alternative field layouts for client review and approval completed according to client schedules.
The critical subtask is to coordinate the efforts of component specialist engineers to produce an optimum total system, that meet the client specified schedule and budget requirements.
This is a critical team position. The Subsea Systems Engineer will lead the project engineering team in the production of the required engineering deliverables within the specified time and budget. Typically, the Subsea Systems Engineer will work closely with a diverse, cross-functional team consisting of specialist engineers in the following components: X-mas trees, subsea structures, control systems, flowlines, umbilicals, flow assurance, and risers and interface with design drafting, document control, project management and quality assurance. The key objective for this team is the production of an optimum commissioned and functioning subsea production system that satisfies the clients specified technical, budgetary and schedule requirements.
You will use your overall knowledge and experience of the essential components of a subsea production system to communicate on an advanced technical level with all specialist engineers involved and with the client.

Roles & Responsibilities The Subsea Systems Engineer will act as the owner’s agent and will be responsible for a variety of task:
• Generate full field development scenarios
• Provide overall systems integration experience
• Write and Review Specifications
• Conduct Bid Analysis
• Oversee Installation Contractors and Equipment Manufacturers
• Review Contractor Documentation
Successful Candidates will possess and demonstrate the following working knowledge:
• Working knowledge of Subsea Trees
• Understanding and knowledge of subsea control systems, flow line connection systems, subsea manifolds, valves, actuators, umbilicals.
• Experience with Subsea Systems Integration and Installations.
