This role will consist of 3 main areas: Monthly reporting and financial analysis, special projects as assigned, and job shadowing/training.
The monthly reporting function of the internship is focused on updating, implementing, and streamlining various reports that will support the Operations and Indirect departments of Perrigo. Along with these cost estimates, ad-hoc financial analysis will be required.
The special projects will consist of long term assignments that will be completed over the course of the internship. Some examples of this year’s projects for the intern include the following: absorption analysis, research/benchmark other companies Ops Finance best practices, assist in designing templates, and finalization of annual budget reports and compilation of budget books for management.
The final area of the internship consists of training and job shadowing. The intern will accompany various members of the Operations Finance team to different meetings, conduct departmental interviews, attend plant tours, and receive various other training as time allows.
