Job Description:
Performs basic engineering tasks of a limited scope, which provide experience and familiarity with engineering staff, methods, practice and programs. Develop oral and written communications with various stakeholders including employees and management. No supervisory or budgetary responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist Delivery Assurance Leads with various tasks. Duties may include:

a. Conduct historic data pattern analysis

b. Assist and perform field analysis of failed equipment

c. Categorizing historic equipment problems

d. Data entry as specified/required

e. Perform basic engineering calculations, project specifications, reports and related project schedules. Maintain/Update Event Manager Reports

f. Compiling monthly reliability reports and presentation for area/region as required

g. Help maintain and update local reports / SharePoint files for various programs

2. Assist Relocation Coordinator with various tasks:
a. Learn to originate, coordinate and direct all work orders associated with relocation requests

b. Keeps the Lead Engineer and Training Engineer advised as to status of project(s) with respect to schedule, delays and adverse problems.

c. Assist with design of Work in progress

d. Learn to coordinate with Joint Use Facilitates to ensure timely relocation of facilities

3. Ability to learn to design:
a. Design:
i. New service: Overhead transformer installs, radial underground

ii. Pole inspection transfers, Pole pulling jobs

iii. Pad mounted transformer change-outs – leakers

b. Service & Meter Work / Non-Design Work Requests

i. FWMS investigations (small damage claims, paint pad mounted transformers, ruts in yard, general customer complaints)

ii. Negotiation and Design of Outdoor Lights

iii. Service & Meter Work in Underground Subdivisions

4. Daily File Maintenance ( e.g. Completed Projects, Milestone dates )

5. Ability to follow and perform basic financial calculations as requested

Degree program in the following disciplines required: BS in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering; GPA 3.0 or above; must submit current transcript with application; proficient in MS Office Excel/PowerPoint
