WORK DAY/YEAR: 8 hrs/day (Monday-Friday; approx. 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.); June 10 - August 16, 2013
Develop, organize, and implement daily service learning projects with youth.
Develop and maintain a high level of communication and positive relationships with parents, students, site team, and community partners.
Maintain a safe learning environment for students.
Employee also performs other tasks within the levels of responsibility indicated as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum education requirement is high school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 18 years of age.
Experience working with middle school and high school youth in an educational/recreational role preferred.
Value the perspectives of young people.
Previous experience in service learning.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse district staff, students, and community partners.
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Creative problem solver.
