Direct responsibility for the identification, contact, qualification and development of viable new accounts for WMS products and services within a geographic area to meet a specific sales target
The NSR works with other Brokerage, Software team members and Sales Support and must be able to give a hands-on demo of the software suite
Gathers competitive data from the client landscape and crafts product positioning with Product Marketing.
Manage the communication and internal coordination of SunGard sales operations, s, Operations, Legal, Contract Admin and executive team to insure customer education and satisfaction
Manage the on-going need to understand inter-related technologies that exist and keep current on new options as the business technologies and brokerage solutions expand and change
Responsible for the development, execution and delivery of quality solution focused client presentations and proposals
Responsible for the initiation, arrangement and attendance for software product demonstrations as needed
Assist with the successful seamless transition of clients from new sales to strategic/account management team
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the sales cycle
Maintains knowledge required for detailed product demonstration
Maintains on-going continuing education for FINRA license requirements
This individual is responsible for selling SunGard Wealth Management solutions in the financial services industry. Key functions of this position include prospecting for new clients within a defined sales territory and moving multiple prospects through the sales cycle to contract close. Through prospecting, lead follow-up, the NSR discovers critical business issues driving needs for SunGard Wealth Management solutions. The person in this position works in conjunction with Implementation, Sales Operations and Delivery, Professional Services and Account Management to ensure that all clients within the territory are being serviced properly. The NSR has an ability to understand the big picture and successfully position solution strategies, product demonstrations and presentations appropriately.
- College degree
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience selling software and financial service solutions
- FINRA registrations: Series 7 and Series 63
- Self motivated to reach assigned sales and performance goals
- Ability to cultivate and coordinate internal and external key relationships
