Requirements: BS degree in a biological science field with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 2 years of lead or supervisory experience required. This position will be responsible for managing a small group of biologists that support the IRR contract Experience should include mammalian cell culture. Specific experience in growth and propagation of human or animal viruses preferred. Excellent aseptic technique needed. Experience in molecular biology, including PCR, RT-PCR, real-time quantitative PCR, primer and probe design, sequencing and sequence analysis preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed. Must be highly organized and self-motivated.
