Supervise and direct day-to-day activities of the facilities technician group including daily checks, scheduled PM and work order execution. One day shift, one night shift opportunity available.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the preventive maintenance program for all Facilities maintained equipment. Prioritize and direct execution of work orders in accordance with CMMS.
  • Directs and assists in troubleshooting and recommends solutions to existing problems on facilities related equipment and systems as well as those from other departments
  • Maintain facilities documentation compliant with current regulatory guidelines and keep department audit ready at all times.
  • Direct and/or write, review and revise standard operating procedures relative to utility equipment and / or systems.
  • Coordinate and respond to alarms and/or pages from various plant monitoring systems.
  • Understand, follow and direct others in accordance with cGMP standards and procedures.
  • Coordinate and manage the activities of outside contract vendors relative to Facilities projects and other projects.
  • Ensure facilities group training requirements are up-to-date and training is maintained at or greater than 90%.
  • Read and understand sophisticated architectural, equipment and system drawings.
Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • A minimum of six (6) years experience with utility systems and equipment maintenance or equivalent with continuing education. A minimum of three (3) years experience supervising facilities/maintenance technicians in a pharmaceutical/biotech environment preferred.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge in several of the following areas: HVAC, plant utilities, GMP equipment, electrical systems, Automated Material Handling Systems, Fire/Life Safety, and solvent usage
  • Experience with using CMMS system for maintenance scheduling (Maximo MRO preferred).
  • Previous experience in clean room and cGMP applications preferred.
  • Computer literate. Strong communication skills.

Ability to lift 40 pounds, stand for long periods of time, work gowned up for long periods of time, maintain good personal hygiene.
