Responsible for daily operations of a team or work unit (direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, day to day workflow, and operating costs).
Responsibilities may include:
cost, schedule, and technical performance of a specific unit or work package on a large system development-type contract/project or broad responsibility for all aspects of program/project performance on a delivery order or small technical services-type contract/project. Develop and manage skills improvement of reporting staff through training and development initiatives.
Coordinate work load in all M304 manufacturing facilities to deliver value and ensure schedules of customer base are met.
Develop and manage skills improvement of reporting staff through training and development initiatives. MasterCam Cad/Cad system proficiency required to develop skills of technicians. Solumina (Shop Floor Planning/Scheduling system) experience, a plus.
Attend status meetings with customers to ensure open communication and problem resolution. Work with OV manufacturing and process suppliers to improve manufacturing processes and ensure successful delivery of hardware. Positive engagement will be required with all support organizations to support all manufacturing and process functions and sustain business operations. Coordinate and manage single operation process offload to outside vendors. He / She must have excellent communication skills. Years of technical and leadership experience may be considered as fulfillment of requirement for years of formal education.1st and 2nd shift positions, work on a 9/80 schedule.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus a minimum of 6 years related experience.
