Duties to include but are not limited to:

Supervision of hourly bargaining unit associates in Processing.
Implements process improvements through use of lean manufacturing. Drives Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) operating system within work group through all activities and actions.

Responsible for cost, schedule and quality performance in support of business unit goals and objectives.

Sets priorities as required in support of meeting customer demand.

Interfaces with Human Resources and union stewards on personnel issues.

Conducts investigations in support of problem resolutions as required.

Attends numerous meeting throughout the day, sometimes working beyond the normal shift hours in support of operations objectives.

Oversees, monitors, and documents employee training, performance, and compliance.

Adheres to company business practices/ethics policies and EH&S standards.

Performs additional duties as directed by Manager.

Supervisors must be capable of effectively interfacing with a variety of internal and external customers.

Must be able to drive change in the organization

BS/BA with 4-10+ years experience.
MS/MA/MBA with 2-7+ years experience.

Equivalent years of aviation experience will also be considered.

Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably supervising hourly bargaining unit associates.

Heat treating and chemical processing experience a plus.

Must be capable of effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing efficiently.

Must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with technical, non-technical and business staff at all levels.

Must be comfortable with Microsoft Business Suite with the ability to learn additional computer systems

***Successful candidate could be required to work ANY SHIFT***

Irregular schedule and overtime may be required.

Candidate will participate in a pay for performance incentive plan.
