Qualifications: Minimum qualification include: 4-5 years previous news production experience, 1-2 years previous supervisory or demonstrated leadership experience in a news environment, solid working knowledge of current editor/production/broadcast technologies, and Spanish language skills. Minimum qualifications include: Career guidance and coaching, ability to thrive in a challenging and dynamic news environment, Ability to thrive in a challenging and dynamic news environment and Previous CNN experience. Educational requirements include: Bachelor s degree (typically in liberal arts such as journalism, English, political science or similar demonstrated on the job experience). The successful candidate will exhibit a positive attitude that creates solid working relationships with Image+Sound staff and clients and establish an open working environment that encourages ideas. The candidate should be able to make decisions regarding staffing and production requirements and needs, develop employees and provide appropriate feedback to staff members, have a proven ability to communicate professionally with others in written and verbal form, have knowledge of current events and understanding of editorial priorities and demonstrate Turner's performance essentials.

Duties: The supervisor handles daily management of production needs and work review for the staff of approximately 16 editors and freelance editors at CNNE. Will make assignments and supervises video editors to meet the business needs and expectations of CNN Image+Sound and CNNE. The supervisor will conduct quality review of employees' work and conduct performance management throughout the year. The supervisor is expected to play an integral role in hiring decisions for video editors. Interacts with management on a regular basis regarding production needs and a variety of workflows, programming and schedule issues.

This supervisor will work non-business hours as part of their regularly assigned duties and will be expected to be flexible as necessary. The 24x7 nature of the news operation requires that the supervisor be consistently accessible for breaking news and personnel issues.
