The Information Services Supervisor's primary responsibility is to manage day to day activities of their assigned work group, assist their manager in strategic planning and organization activities and support the goals of the organization as the first level of management. Typical tasks will include, but are not limited to: conducting employee evaluations, developing work schedules, meeting with customers at all levels within and outside Vidant to better understand their needs and work within their teams to find solutions, developing or overseeing project plans, assigning tasks and project ownership, providing guidance to employees and input to their management team.
Associate College Degree: (major) Information Technology, Business, Nursing, Engineering, Management Information Systems or related; 4 year degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years experience required.
Additional years of applicable experience, beyond the minimum requirement of five years may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis. Additional years of applicable formal education beyond the minimum requirement of two years may be substituted for the required years of experience on a year for year basis.
Experience in Cache, SQL, and/or Oracle; Experience supervising and/or overseeing IT personnel is preferred
