Respond and troubleshoot Data Management issues via phone and in writing from Fund staff, physicians and hospital representatives regarding address changes, tax identification numbers, and claim status

Oversee, arrange, and delegate all incoming inquiries received by the credentialing, medical, dental, hospital and vision department to maintain accurate provider files

Supervise Data Management staff in accordance with established departmental procedures, Human Resources guidelines, and provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, as appropriate

Ensure staff is trained and developed to meet the goals and needs of the department; establish a collaborative team environment, prepare performance evaluations, evaluate achievement of performance standards (i.e. productivity, accuracy, and attendance) coach and counsel as appropriate

Handle and review provider reports to ensure they are updated correctly in various systems ( QNXT Medical & QNXT Dental, Trinity II aka Cactus); track and prepare various monthly reports via Excel and Access databases

Gather and coordinate provider updating statistic in preparation for preparing monthly departmental; reports

Ensure accuracy and integrity of provider data, identify needs for improvement and discuss Quality Assurance issues with Senior Manager

Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management


Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent years of experience required; plus

Minimum three (3) years data management experience; to include one (1) year in a leadership role required

Experience in a provider relations, health insurance, or health benefits environment preferred

Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel and Access required; intermediate knowledge of Outlook, Word and Internet Research

Sound working knowledge of tables, forms, queries, statistical concepts, methods, and data collection procedures required; able to prepare comprehensive reports

Able to research information and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions and recommendations

Good leadership skills and ability to direct and motivate staff

Superb communication skills both verbal and written

Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills; must work well independently and as a team player

Demonstrated organizational skills with ability to multi-task and meet operational deadlines

Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional manner and presentation

Must meet performance standards including attendance and punctuality
