Master's degree in Social Work or Master's degree in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or Counseling, from an accredited college or university.
Licensed to practice in the State of Kansas.
Supervises therapist, case workers, and office support staff.
Participates in scheduling employee evaluations, performance improvement, and resolves staff conflict.
Hires and terminates staff with management team.
Prepares annual evaluations and determines pay increases for staff with the management team.
Ensures that Therapists provide billable Medicaid hours and submits necessary paperwork for Medicaid billing.
Provides on-call list for 24 hour coverage and for any crisis intervention.
Provides leadership for staff. Meets regularly with assigned team staff to provide case consultation and feedback on performance.
Assigns cases maintaining appropriate staffing ratios of therapists to children/families.
Serves as relief therapist, when needed.
Provides information regarding overall client satisfaction of programs and provides input for program improvement to the Director of the findings.
Liaison with SRS courts, schools, providers, and communities.
Assures that case documentation and critical incident reports meet SFCS and the Department of Social and Rehabilitation (SRS) requirements, for content and timeliness.
Assists in the transition of clients moving to Out Of Home placement.
Monitor and approve expenditures.
Implements SFCS policies and follows directives as required. Follows and adheres to all pertinent SFCS Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), rules, personnel policies and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state and local rules, statutes , regulations and contractual terms.
Reports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels.
Ensures clients' rights are protected.
Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures.
