ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION
1. Accountable for rejects to include analysis, reconciliation and appropriate training/disciplinary measures.
2. Ensures quality of department(s) output per established QC procedures.
3. Provide training and needed technical support to all production personnel
4. Interact effectively with other departments to communicate and facilitate production requirements
5. Conduct and/or participate as appropriate in production and scheduling meetings
6. Responsible for scheduling personnel to meet the needs of the plant
7. Responsible for timely submission of weekly payroll hours
8. Responsible to provide timely performance reviews on Production personnel
9. Act as back up to other department members, including Scheduling, as needed
10. Ensures reliability of production measurements though the use of shop floor
11. Responsible for developing basic justification for equipment acquisition
12. Willingly accepts and performs other duties as requested

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 2 years experience supervising or leading a team with emphasis on goal setting, safety, quality and waste reduction.
