You will serve as the Chief of the Processing Branch, supervising workers responsible for case processing, computer data entry activities, and error correction functions. Plan, conduct, and supervise branch operations and in determining work methodologies. Interpret rules, regulations, policies, and procedures subject to guidance from the supervisor on unusual problems encountered or particularly difficult issues.
Specialized Experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level. Specialized experience is defined as: One year of specialized experience performing technical, administrative, and investigative work at the GS-08 level.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency (knowledge, skills, abilities) in the following are;
GS-06 and above: One year of experience directly related to the occupation and equivalent to the next lower grade level. Education is not creditable, however, graduate education may be credited in those few instances where the graduate education is directly related to the work of the position.
