The primary responsibility of this position is to manage supplier performance and provide resolution of supplier performance issues. This individual is also accountable to ensure that the dealer and supplier expectations are exceeded. This role is the critical foundation of the Schneider Logistics account operations team and is one in which strong communication, stress tolerance and problem solving skills are key. Managing supplier performance, including supplier delivery performance and supplier shipping performance. 2. Identifying and providing resolution of supplier performance problems. 3.
Extensive problem solving of supplier issues. 4. Communicate effectively and build a professional relationship with carriers, shippers and internal/external customers to strive to exceed their total service expectations. 5.
Focus on customer satisfaction. 6. Understand and document accounts in detail on the supplier profile screen to include, reduction of backorders, ensuring ship date accuracy, and meeting and exceeding dealer fill objectives. 7.
Complete all necessary customer specific tasks. 8. Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned which may include holiday, weekend or beeper coverage. 9.
Act as a positive role model for team members by providing support and assistance as needed. Job Requirements 1. Two to five years work experience. 2.
Knowledge of Logistics industry preferred. 3. Ability to work in a non-structured environment. 4.
Strong communication and persuasiveness skills. 5. Ability to use PC efficiently. 6.
Proven analytical ability. 7. Ability to make decisions and take appropriate action. 8.
Ability to prioritize workload. 9. Ability to work as part of a team and provide assistance when necessary. 10.
