Job Description:
Under general supervision, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.

Applies functional knowledge to the design, customization and configuration of business applications considering system capacity and limitations. Performs business analysis of systems and follows through the full development life cycle, including writing functional requirements and developing test plans. Analyzes procedures and systems to refine their formulation and convert to programmable formats. Gathers information from user for analysis of problem areas. Participates in or may plan and conduct preliminary studies of potential data processing applications and prepares design proposals to reflect cost, time and alternative actions to satisfy existing and future needs. Develops detailed system specifications for conversion to programming language by staff programmers. Recommends conversion and system implementation plans including user training and orientation. Proceeds on own initiative for most phases of work and only requires general direction for new activities.

Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.

Demonstrates moderate technical knowledge of assigned systems. Familiar with relational database concepts, client-server concepts, and industry requirements. Must be able to communicate effectively with both end users and IT staff. Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.

FUNCTIONS

General Summary:
Under general
supervision, the Analyst’s primary responsibilities will be as

follows:
1)
Day-to-day support of the Project Management (PM) tool
within SAP Sourcing that lead to WWSC achieving year-over-year cost
reductions
2)
Own the Approved Price List (APL) data within WWSC,
including pushing price (where applicable) to the Plants within
SAP
3)
Ensure Price Compliance data is accurate to help avoid
and reduce cost creep situations

Duties include, but are not limited

to:
  • Provide the necessary training and
support of the PM tool within SAP Sourcing to WWSC, Operations,
Finance, and Engineering team
members
  • Capture enhancement requests and
lead the WWSC effort testing any revisions/enhancements to the PM
tool with LII IT
  • Supports the publication of
APL’s in the Contract Management area within SAP Sourcing and
ensures the ownership of the APL’s are consistent with what is
in Business Warehouse (BW).
Single point of contact to the LII plants for WWSC of
APL’s.
  • Coordinates the efforts with LII
plants to push pricing from SAP Sourcing (APL’s) to SAP ECC and
helps drive plant satisfaction with the support we provide them with
this process
  • Analyzes data from BW to determine
what spend is not in an APL and works with WWSC to obtain this
information and publish to the
plants
  • Analyzes the current Lennox
Worldwide Supply Chain processes being used to deliver business
performance targets.
Supports areas of improvement, prioritizes work based on
impact/ease, and works with cross functional team to
implement.
  • Works with WWSC team and project
and business leaders to identify the gap between current and desired
results and implements solution(s) to resolve
QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:
BA
preferred
At least 3 years relevant experience with
5 years preferred
Working knowledge of system applications
(e.g., SAP, 3PL software, JDE, Manhattan) or similar
applications

Must also have the following demonstrated knowledge,

the lead on implementation of reporting requirements that affect
numerous lines of business

Key
organizational relationships include the WWSC staff (Leadership Team
and Sourcing/Commodity Managers), Managers within LII IT, and BU
Operations
·
Requires very strong data and business information
skills including Excel, Access, and related
skills
·
Strong customer service and relational
skills
