Mission: Supply Chain Coordinator
You will help us keep our customers happy through ensuring a smooth, and on time, process once our orders are placed, through to our warehouses receiving our goods. You’ll be responsible for leading a critical business function within the eCommerce Supply Chain division. You will oversee the purchase order process from issuance to receipt and ensure on time delivery, accurate receiving of our eCommerce goods and proper vendor guideline compliance.
Through the successful execution of these essential job functions of this role you will directly and indirectly impact cost containment, efficiency, profitability, and customer support.
In this role you’ll be successful if you can:
Coordinate purchase order delivery dates and inbound shipments to ensure accuracy in forecasted receipt volume
Work with supply chain and buy teams to manage accurate and timely product receipt at warehouse
Administer purchase order receipt, discrepancy and reconciliation with supplier, warehouse and internal constituents
Manage kitting requests from inception on buy team to build completion
Investigate and respond to any kitting specific customer service, buy team or other inquiries as the primary supply chain contact
Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators relative to supplier performance and strategic supply chain goals
Identify methods and areas to reduce supply chain costs and streamline processes
Actively work to strengthen relationships with internal partners and external vendors
Communicate to internal and external partners changes to supply chain compliance guidelines
Manage vendor guideline compliance process including communicating receiving issues and chargebacks with suppliers
Initiate, participate and complete special projects that enhance the overall performance of the eCommerce department and supply chain
Your background and experience should include, but is not necessarily limited to the following:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or similar course of study and/or 1+ year of equivalent experience
Familiarity with logistics and warehouse distribution preferred
Proven analytical skills and enthusiasm for data-driven decision making
Proficiency managing large amounts of data and Microsoft Excel (specifically the use of vlookups and pivot tables)
A clear understanding of financial measurements (sales, gross margin, measures of inventory productivity) and how to impact them.
Ability to communicate with individuals/groups from varied backgrounds and skill levels
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work autonomously, take direction and effectively execute against multiple simultaneous activities to achieve desired outcomes
Demonstrated success in a process and detail oriented environment where there was an emphasis on action, accuracy and results
Strong planning, judgment and decision-making skills
Excellent project management and communication skills, including the ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels as well as external partners
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables with strong organization skills and attention to detail
Prefer a candidate whose resume indicates he/she has excelled amongst an elite peer group.
Prior eCommerce and supply chain experience is highly desirable
