The Supply Chain Engineer will be responsible for the materials and information flow for new production lines and systems within the facility. The Individual will plan, direct, and coordinate programs and processes to ensure material availability and delivery in support of manufacturing. Individual will be trained in the Terex Business System and will have overall responsibility for PFEP (Plan For Every Part) including determining kanban sizes, kanban quantity, material presentation, material flow, material delivery to and within the production lines. This person will be a part of a cross-functional team in an exciting and challenging environment.
Learn advanced lean principles and the Terex Business System Communicate the vision for a new product and production distribution system. Conceive material flow from suppliers through manufacturing to finished product, and deliver the vision. Develop and execute project plans for materials ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution for a new product and production system. · Establish pull-signaling system
Execute and training others to execute daily activities including processing kanban orders, updating and managing the kanban database, tracking and recording supplier delivery performance and communicating supply issues This Individual will continuously monitor material distribution to ensure safe and efficient supply to manufacturing. Effective communication supported by a philosophy of continuous improvement and standard work are essential.

Purchasing, Scheduling and Production Control experience required; experience in determining root causes of material flow problems and successfully eliminating them. Experience and accomplishments in constructing, managing, and continuously improving a materials flow process that is in accordance with accepted JIT practices and lean manufacturing concepts. Excellent understanding of BOMs, ECN processes and, Lean manufacturing techniques, preferred training in JIT and TQM. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business. Minimum 3 years management experience. Demonstrated leadership ability; ability to pull teams together; ability to develop people. Excellent problem solving skills; demonstrated ability to lead teams in problem solving activities and creating change. Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a continuously changing environment. Good training skills and a strong belief in importance of continuous training and strong orientation towards continuous improvement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated high respect for people as individuals and as members of the company team Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement Must be willing to travel extensively (approx. 50%) for first 3+ months of the job for training, after the initial training travel would be minimal.
